The Start

One chilly November day I was having a great conversation via text message with my long time boyfriend's sister, Shannon. She told me "You are amazing! Please start a crafting blog so I can show you off. Haha." I replied, "Maybe I should!" and the seed was planted. First, there was the trouble of finding a cute, quirky and sophisticated blog name (there are a lot of cute ones already out there, kudos to you ladies). Also, thoughts of underachievement and failure were inevitable in clouding my journey of starting said blog. I have attempted  craft and fashion blogs before so why would this be different?

A mission statement. It would be not only the reason but the purpose of my new blog. What would I focus on? How would I present my finds of fashion, food and crafts? What font would I use for the title?! (Okay, font choice is not part of the mission statement but it is equally important.)

Purpose

DIY, food and fancy. I will scour the interwebs for inspiration as well as my own creativity to share with you craft projects, foodie dishes and perhaps some cute fashion outfits. You can feel free to follow me by clicking the Pintrest logo on the right side and follow some or all of my boards. I can't promise any posting consistency with my blog because life happens. I will talk about my life. My friends, my family and my boyfriend are major parts of my life and will most definitely seep into my posts.
