Kitchen Sink Window Garden

I love window sill gardens but sadly I was not born with a green thumb. It seems I kill almost any flower, veggie or herb that I try to keep alive. When I was 13, I even killed a cactus. The most least likely plant you can kill and I killed it. But, I am at it again. I grabbed some containers from around the apartment and some seed packets that I got for free last summer and have attempted to start a small garden in the one window in our apartment that gets light. I planted some lavender, chamomile, daisies, green onions and zinnia flowers. I have already gotten some sprouts!
